I'm at the Palms watching a movie last night, so afterwards decided to stop at gold coast to get the drop chip. I go to the poker room...."yes, I'd like to get 20 drop chips" the guy looks at me like I have two heads, says "oh, we dont sell drop chips, there for the poker room only, you cant use them for table play". He then starts to explain to me what a drop chip is...I guess I'll try to talk to the cage manager today....
