It seems that the "%" symbol is causing a problem. There is also another interesting thing that happens whenever a post that contains hot-links in the body of the message is edited, the hot-link action goes away. The text is still there, but when you mouse-over the text the cursor does not change from a pointer to the hand and clicking will not take ypu to the site linked.

I tried to edit your original post by over-writing your link, but as you can see, the entire hot-link action is gone, not just for the part following the "%" sysmbol.

If you wish, I can edit your post to have the link show up where you have a link to "Brians Halloween Page", but your overall post will look better if that new link is moved closer to your message, i.e., I should delete the brass core image as well.
