Both Wynn and Sands have video poker (at least they did when I was there back in March 2007). They are extremely hard to find.
The Sands' only have video poker machines at the bar (I think I counted 6 or 8). Only game available was Double Double Bonus with a lousy 6/5 payout table for full house/flush. BTW, drinks are not comped while you are playing. Not even OJ.
I stayed at Wynn during my last visit, but only found a bank of 6 or 8 machines. As with Sands Macau, games were not multi denominational nor multi game. Only game was a Jacks or Better with the same (really) bad 6/5 payout table (with 125 for 4 of a kind). Interesting was the fact that you had to play 10 coins to get the 4,000 coin payout for hitting a Royal. All machines also had a separate payout for sequential royals.
Even better is when you cash out and it requires a hand pay. I was playing VP at the then newly opened Grand Lisboa which required a hand pay when I tried to cash out. Attendant comes over and takes down the machine info, then they escort you to the cage to finish up the paying process. (no TITO on VP machines) Another interesting sidenote is that all of their VP machines have auto-hold after dealing the initial 5 cards.
I'm heading back to Hong Kong next month. Will stop by Macau to see if things have changed at Wynn and Sands, as well as Venetian and MGM.
