I decided I really needed help and called LIFELINE.
The operator was very nice (even sounded a little sexy). She told me that she was going to transfer me to the 24 hour crisis help line which was located 1/2 way around the world in Pakistan. The operator said this should alleviate any fears of any local people finding out about my problem and most people seem to open up to the mental health helper at the other end of the phone. She wished me good luck and transferred me.
When someone finally picked up he asked me why I was calling and I told him I was suicidal.
He got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck.
