I stayed at the Plaza in August. I was on the 8th floor (room 812) overlooking the entrance to Fremont st and one floor above their restaurant that they tout so much for the view. I got it with the $20 tip trick. I was very happy with my room. It had a very comfortable king size bed, and there was a sitting area next to the sliding glass door balcony overlooking the Fremont St entrance. It definitely wasn't the Ritz but it wasn't Motel 6 either. Unless you are used to luxury hotels, I think you will be pleased with the suites. Ask for a room overlooking the Fremont St entrance. The view was awesome.
