OK I just got home from chip run and I'm so pissed off. I have to vent! I first went to The Sportsman in Modesto CA. They where great about me getting chips to collect. I then went to Oakdale to Mikes Card Room which is connected to a bar called the______Beaver. I asked to get some chips and was told by the owners son that Daddy was not there and I would have to come back tommorrow I explained that I was from out of town and drove an hour to get there. I was being very nice if there was anyway I could get some chips He told me that there was a game in 3 hours and I could buy some chips and He wouldn't care if I just put them in my pocket and left. So after some unproductive effort I said I would come back I would go to Black Oak and get some chips which was 45 min east. When I returned to Mikes card room 3 hours later I headed to the cashiers to buy chips when I was stopped by some employees and told I couldn't buy any chips, now there where 4 employees around you'd think I was going to rob the place! Daddy's son was standing in a corner just watching I informed them that I was told if I returned I could get some chips to which the said that they don't allow chips out of the place and all the employees had been informed not to sell chips. Mean while everyone in the place was now watching I never felt so out of place all this just because I wanted to pick up some chips. I then got the impression that I was going to make counterfict chips or something. Needless to say I didn't get any chips And the $2. chips where new Purple really nice I wasted half a day trying to get those chips.
