Bob, show me a war and I will get behind you. We are not fighting a war in Iraq, we are serving as their police department and CIA. We can fight al Queda with less than 150,000 troops stationed in Baghdad. I am by no means a pacifist. If we need to be in a war, I want us to win the war. Get in, win the war, and then get he!! out. Since there was no exit strategy in Iraq, the spin is that we must win something. What we need to win has changed more times than I can list. Do you even remotely remember "Mission Accomplished"? At this point, it is costing too many Americans lives to be Iraq's police department. We are getting nothing in return and it is costing billions in money we could use domestically. I would rather use the forces in Afghanistan, to allow our National Guard to get back to their very important domestic work and to beef up the southern border to deal with the illegal immigration issue. I am very pro-military and that also means keeping those soldiers alive to perform other more necessary work. If I still sound like a pacifist to you, I am proud to wear that label.
