Frank; My comment about your Viet Nam military service to our country was not "smug". It was a sincere expression of gratitude. I've expressed similar sentiments to Don Tassie (and to others) for his distinguished military service as a United Sates Marine.

You're right, I don't know much about you, or your military service ... what I do know is what you yourself posted in another thread which stated;

I agree with your statement and I merely thanked you for your military service. It was not intended to be "smug". If you were offended by my reference to your Viet Nam service, I publicly extend my personal apology to you.
