Very sadly I think a great many Americans are adopting your sentiment Gene. I have felt that way for a few years myself. Government seems to be on a collision course and continues to just get bigger and bigger and more inefficient from the Whitehouse down to many in local government. What is sad is the upcoming generation seems to care less about government and more about the new Iphone. Jay Leno, on the 4th of July asked questions about America's independence and one question was 'Who did we gain our independence from?" One of the answers was "Cuba?" You think government is running amok now think what it will be when illegal aliens, gang members, and drug users dilute the few astute young left and we are all dead and gone? It's still good... it's going to get much worse I'm affraid.
