My opinion on the Sahara and Riv....5 years and they will be in the neon Boneyard.
When you look at what is going on, on that end of the Strip now, Echelon, Encore, Palazzo, The Plaza, and soon Crown (beside the Sahara where ther wet n wild is now) it is only a matter of time before we lose the Cir Cir, Sahara and Riv. Their property is/will be worth more than the casinos are taking in now.....

I have stayed out of the posts on the Convention, but...... Looking at it from a Construction worker's standpoint and also a LV local (LOL), my opinion on the whole Convention thing... We do need a back-up plan. The days of cheap convention space are fleeting and we might as well face the fact that it is going to cost a FORTUNE to hold our conventions here in the very near future. We may be looking at Primm or Laughlin for the Conv and driving to Vegas to hang out and gamble, drink, etc...
