This chip up now is the same one that was sold first. ($325) Then a second. ($600) Then a third regular auction not buy it now as the other 2, $1540. How many more? This is rare when a rare chip becomes common. But it might not be common. The seller didnt know how to handle this chip, for example he runs 2 each Pioneer Laughlin $500 and $1,000 at the same night. Another thing these Sands chips all seem to have some water damage or concrete residue like dug up chips. The perfect example previously known will always be worth a lot and hold a premium value. So say there's 6 of these Sands $100's now. Whats the real value? Factor in auction-fright and the value plummets. I know everyone on here is thinking- this guy has a box its $40 now. Wrong or right we will never know?
I can give many examples where non chip collectors run chips on ebay and scare buyers away. The sellers won't tell us how many they have and of course this keeps their value down.
