OK, my 2007 report --
It was a dual trip with BARGE and the convention. I managed to get there too late to play in the CHORSE event. Our team won the event and broke up the next year due to scheduling conflicts. If you get a chance, check out the plaque at Binions in the poker room. Managed to cash in the No Limit event even with sitting next to Gavin Smith for a large part of the event. He's a funny guy. Managed to completely botch up the Stud Shootout - I won my table the last two years but didn't play well enough to win this year.

Convention was a blast. Didn't stay at the Riviera, stayed at the Binions, Venetian, and then Silverton. It was a work vacation. During the half the day I was working, attending meetings, pretty much had the Skype headset on full time talking to somebody. Still had a blast. During the convention I had a small table in the back and no headset. Bought lots of chips -- and by next convention I may get them cataloged.
