Hey Greg - Caesars IN Roulette Varieties !!!!

Greg,
I was putting away some Caesars Indiana Roulette chips in an album and I noticed a different variety of the current Roman alphabet Roulettes.

The top row shows the original style - notice the RD1 and LLC on either side of the CAESARS at the top of the chip.

Row 2, 3 and 4 show a different style of chip - Nothing on either side of the CAESARS - but RIVERBOAT - CASINO "LLC" below CAESARS.

The 9 chips in rows 2,3 and 4 are the only ones I have of the second variety. At first I thought there were only 2 colors of the second variety - gold and orange but as you can see therr are at least 5 different colors of the second varoety - gold, orange, red(maroon), light blue and green.

I imagine the second style are backup chips that have been gradually introduced to replace some of the original worn out Chipcos on various tables.

I have had these 9 different chips for a year and a half, but never noticed the difference until about an hour ago. Finding something like this is one of the things I really enjoy about this hobby.

I guess you'll have to add a few more scans to your Chip Guide.

Take care,
"Mr. Roulette"

P.S. Yeah, I know the scans aren't real great, but I'm sure you can see what I'm talking about.
