It's exciting if you follow the media hype, because they always manage to get at least one race wrong - leading everyone to believe it's really, well, exciting.

I find the endless campaigning tiresome. There is little focus on real issues, we receive numerous campaign phone calls interrupting our daily lives (I just got another one as I was typing this!), and our favorite television programs are dominated by hateful and deceitful advertisements.

While I am not a fan of the British/Canadian system of the party selecting the prime minister, I can appreciate the shortened campaign scheddule (even if it does not necessarily increase the quality of the debates).
