fairly quiet about his personal life and he would be the last to publicly burden us with his loss. However, I have asked for, and received an OK, to let all of us know that Barry H.'s father (Milton) passed away on December 30th.

In discussing this post with Barry, he was at first disinclined to do so, out of concern for giving the appearance of looking for sympathy. But I explained to him that there are many of us, who later on, would feel slighted for not being afforded the opportunity to express their condolences now.

So, while it is Barry's loss (and that of the Hauptman family), I am certain that nearly everyone in the chipping community shares in his sorrow.

Barry, be well and we look forward to your more active involvement here. Please know that you are liked, respected and even loved here.
