"Many heated exchanges you will be reading are between friends who have known each other for years and who will continue to be friends after the fire has died down. Some exchanges are between former friends who will never be friendly again. Some are just plain spiteful. So it is with that caution that I welcome you to thechipboard.com where everyone is encouraged to say what ever is on their minds. Hopefully, we can all appreciate where the other person is coming from when the day is over."
Where can this sage advice be found?
Answer; At the permanent link at the top of this page titled "For First Time Users".
Why is it some want to censor subjects or topics they don't approve of? Why not censor all the sports related posts ... or poker tournament related posts that the majority of chipboard readers don't care about ... or perhaps the Happy Birthday greetings?
Why? Because other folks enjoy doing what they do in that regard and others like to respond.
The simple solution that has been expressed so often which seems to be forgotten is to SKIP OVER THE OBVIOUS THREADS THAT YOU KNOW DO NOT INTEREST YOU!
Censorship is not the solution. Tolerance is. "Live and let live!"
