I discovered - as others here have mentioned - that there's nothing that can be done. EBay really leaves feedback in the hands of the users.
After a couple months, the neutral or negative feedback gets buried. Not only does time take its toll, but the numerous positives I have accrued since then have made me feel better about the process and, I think, have given a more accurate picture of the way I do business.
Archie, you have a national reputation, which should assure other sellers that you don't pull the kind of stunt you have been accused of. You also have your membership in the club, which gives further assurance that you adhere to a code of ethics. When viewing a single negative, others will likely "consider the source."
