I had a bad month in november, just got raped at the tables by suckouts and bad players. Same thing, flop an ace with pockets and twice had four of a kind beat me (when the player had one in hand!) full house beat by bigger full houses when they had no business playing, etc. It drove me nuts and I played more aggressively only to get more bad beats. I had to stop for a week or so i could focus. December was a better month. It messes with your head. Maybe I'm playing poorly, not betting enough, too much...finally i chalked it up to cards. In the end, it's all cards. No sense beating myself up over it. There is a great skill in poker, but without luck you'll get buried or go nuts trying to figure out what went wrong.
