I have a program that does converting of the DVD to mp4 format straight on the fly. Just pop the DVD in the drive, start the program and it takes about 10% less time than playing the movie straight. *chuckle* And it does view fine on the iPod video and the iPod Touch that I own.

I'm a tech geek... I'll admit it.
