Cindy and I decided to visit our baby daughter in Orlando for Christmas. She was recently promoted to Operations Manager at the new BB Kings Club in Orlando and has been there about 6 months now to get the place ready for opening. It finally opened a few weeks ago and seems poised for success. After 3 or so years working as a bartender after getting out of college I was begining to wonder if my $80K investment in her education was ever going to pay off. Well it looks like it did! She is making a very respectable salary and is scheduled to go to the next city where they plan to open another club, possibly with another promotion.

In any case, back to the contest. We decided to drive down there and of course I always like to stop and antique along the way and then hit all of the nearby casinos. We left last Friday(before Christmas) and got home Saturday. I hit every land based casino and card room in Florida except 3 or 4 that were not open when I was in their area.

The contest is as follows - how many miles did I put on my trip odometer from my house in Mt. Juliet, TN from the time we left until we got back? That includes all of the stops and side trips. The winner will get the new $1 Sarasota Kennel Club chip shown. The winner must post their CC>CC number and have their guess in the subject line. The closest one to the actual mileage wins. Contest closes in about 24 hours or whenever I feel like it.
