This is a beautiful ivorine/crystalate gaming chip that originated from the tables of Monte Carlo. Chips like these are extremely rare and collectable and can only increase in value. This chip was a 5 Franc table chip that was used in actual play by many of Europes elite. The condition is superb, some wear obviously but still a chip of very high quality (extremely fine.) The centre of the chip is metal filigree which is exquisitely made and of very high quality.

There is also a fish design on the chip which may identify the casino at which it was used, which I believe was the casino de Monte Carlo.
