Robert-You know you are right. I've never had to use the large envelope rate, just saw the zip code entry on the USPS rate calculator and assumed there would be a difference. What I ment by my comment was to click the "?" next to the "Letter" rate in the calculator, and see what the rules are for a letter; and why one chip in a 000 qualifies for the 58¢ rate.
