There were only three chips with the words "Super Bowl" ® on them. The words "Super Bowl" ® are copyrighted ® by the NFL ®. In order to distance the NFL® from gambling, the league refuses to let the words appear on gaming chips.

A number of these chips made it into circulation. Any chips for the Super Bowl® now use such slogans as "Super Sunday", "The Big Game", etc.
