By myself, I have photographed the outside of the TOWN TAVERN in great detail several times over the past four years and been inside each time, last time this October. There are two poker tables in a corner of the room, one is covered the other is used some evenings only. Maybe 30 slot machines are still in use. If you go around 8am no one will bother you and the sun is on the face of the building. If you go later peole may approach you for money but thats it. The Loves and Lees ( LOVES TAVEN ) building still exixts one block away but is a Baptist Church now. I along with CAMPIGLIA tracked down Lee ROBINSON of LOVES AND LEES at his house several years ago not far from these casinos and got some original black and white images of the COTTON CLUB. We also found the last owners of the NEW BROWN DERBY and they sold us 3 unused Brown Derby BJ cloths and some chips. My images are 11 Mpix. If anyone knows how to downgrade the image so it can be posted and wants post it I'll send an image to them and they can post it.
