Seems like we haven't had a snow storm like this in many years! Around 8:30 AM this morning there was thunder and lightning and it was snowing so hard I could barely see the house across the street! We were out this afternoon here in town and experienced some whiteout conditions in the middle of town. I wouldn't have wanted to have been out in the middle of no-where!

As a side note; they just said on the KSNW TV news that the turnpike is closed and there are cars that have been sitting at a stand still for three hours south of Wichita.
