Most commonly, in Hold'em the formula is # of out cards / total cards to get the odds of winning the hand. But where's the 'x' in that equation whereby 'x' equals the idiot factor!!
People don't realize that when you have humans playing (as opposed to playing against computers), you have to consider the idiot factor. This can only be solved by understanding the way the idiot at the table plays and multiplying that by your odds.
In my home-game, we have an idiot that will call with anything and unfortunately, ends up drawing out a good amount of time or wins without callers because tighter players don't want to be rivered.
