My husband, Ron Clewell, is a regualr reader/poster on this board and thought that I could help you with your CMA question. The first step would be to find an experienced Realtor and ask for a CMA. Although many CMA's are complimentary, that is primarily for those who are thinking of selling their home. For removal of PMI or someone in your situation, you can expect to pay for the Realtor's service- anywhere between $50-$100 dollars. The Realtor can also outline your options, and introduce you to a reputable loan officer, if you are thinking about the refinancing. What part of the country are you in? I belong to a great referral network of FULL TIME agents with advanced education and experience. In my way of thinking, there is not much worse than getting stuck with someone who "does" Real Estate on the side.
