Someone asked a while back if any Las Vegas cabs would take credit cards for fare payment. I didn't think there were any, but I found one this week that had a POS machine mounted to the passenger seat for use by the customer. It had a video screen that showed advertising when not in use. Driver said his company had just introduced them and that only 9 cabs had them. I didn't try it, but wonder how the tip is handled? I didn't see any input device, but could have been touch-screen. Or maybe they just add $5 to the fare [g].
