Four years ago[in August] I went to Venice. I read in the guidebook that the casino was on the island of Lido in the summer. So I made a reservation at a hotel in Lido. After checking in I asked the desk clerk where the casino was located. He replied that the casino had not been opened in Lido for 10 years !
