Getting sniped (or snippered) in the last 10 seconds is SOP. Heck I just checked on the auctions by a fellow c&s collector. He won all 11 auctions he bid on (he always wins his auctions). All his bids occured within the last 6 to 8 seconds.

Personally, if someone snipes me, it means he bid more than me. What time the bid occurs matters not. I always assume that there will be a snipe against me.

Now I would never snipe a person with less than 10 seconds. I set my snipe bids for 12 seconds remaining in the auction!!
