I tend to agree with you on slight variants on reorders. If you get a magnifiying glass out there probably no two chips alike...period. I collect old generic poker chips and I feal a lot of the fun is getting all of the variations. Of course with the really old ones, with a lot of hand work, there are no two alike. I believe there is a big difference between slight variants of color and variations because of a design element change or a real mess up in the chips manufacturing.
