Ellis Island has a few dollar token machines. But take note - not all tokens will work in other than the home casino machines. I tried to do what you want a few years back and after a few of the tokens went right thru the machine, I had a slot attendant standing next to me asking if everything was OK. She then explained that their machines (Monte Carlo) were set to accept only their own tokens. Not sure how the machine determines this but I tried at several other places and while many did go in OK, there were also many that would not work. BTW silver or gold color on tokens didn't seem to make a difference.
