Yes, I had that toy. Very loud and left small black skid marks on our linoleum floor (which I thought was totally cool). We would jump it through the kitchen and down the stairs to the family room. I couldn't get enough of that! From the price on ebay I wish I still had it!

I read about the Evel and Jay Sarno exchange. How Evel pretended to be a press writer and kept calling Sarno wanting to know when Evel was going to jump the fountains. Got him all worked up and then called as himself and told him "I'm going to jump your fountains" Sarno responded with a "where have you been, everybody is talking about this!" Good stuff!

I'll have to ask my mom to find the photos of me in my Evel Knievel costumes. Just my fathers motorcycle helmet and a red cape my mom made. I thought I could jump the Snake Canyon myself! :-)
