Tonight’s note comes from our neighbors to the south, Cuba. It is a colorful (scanner washed out the colors a bit) 1995 issue One Peso note. On the front is Jose Marti at left and arms at upper center right. The back shows Fidel Castro with rebel soldiers entering Havana in 1959. It has a watermark of Marti, no UV codes or Security thread. It is a very low value note at only 75¢ for an UNCirculated note. Normally these fetch a little over book value but not much ($1.00 range). ENJOY!!
