I finally got two chips from The Avenue, which was in Bellevue, Ky. That was right next to Newport. The club was destroyed in a terrible fire in the spring of 1963. I know there are very few of these and thought I would never have a chance to get them. One is The Avenue/ $1 and the other is The Avenue/The Avenue. Most Northern Ky. collectors need these. I wish they were in better shape, but considering the fire, I'm lucky to get anything at all. One side of each chip is a mess with smoke damage.
