I've been noticing more and more folks on selling chips in multiple quantities, ie...3, 25, 50 or even full racks. Is this a new trend in collecting strategy, or did Shoop start something with his Stardust CIC quest? Seriously, I wonder if folks are buying multiples for the sake of the hunt, much like folks in the coin collecting community do. (See the link below to Coin Roll Hunting.)

Can you actually buy a full rack of chips at a Vegas casino and leave with them? I, like alot of newer collectors, have bought 10 or 20 here and there, then cherry-picked and returned most, but I've never tried a whole rack. Would it be less suspicious if you got maybe a rack and a half, picked out the equivalent rack, then returned the rest?

Any thoughts or ideas on the subject?
