that still command a "premium" price and certainly worth more in the collectible market than face value. My point was only in highlighting the very recent drop in value of some of the more expensive Hard Rock chips...for what reason, I don't know. Maybe the novelty has worn off, maybe there are those that will liquidate their Hard Rock collection because they can't obtain or afford to obtain them all (I'm in the latter group
). I certainly could not afford to do what are doing...collecting doubles of everything. I think that the Hard Rock chips are still the best looking ones in my collection and I will continue to add to my small Hard Rock collection, regardless of the value. Like you, I enjoy the Hard Rock chips...but with your collection of doubles, you obviously like them twice as much as I do
.
I hope that after you get all of your chips framed, that you will post photos of the finished products. I someday want to frame my HRH pins along with much of the other Hard Rock Hotel "stuff" that I've accumulated over the years, but I need to plant a new money tree in the back yard as my daughter has stripped the old one clean .
Thanks for your comment on my convention exhibit...I was going through a lot of the items NOT displayed at the convention and came across this gem (not many around in UNused condition...)
