I used to be a big stamp collector when I was young and was surprised to find one day that I was paying about $.001 per stamp in volume lots and that is just about what each hinge costs! At last count (20 years ago) I had about 25,000 stamps in the collection. A dealer probably wouldn't give me $100 for it today.
