I just won this chip on eBay; including shipping from the UK, it will be the single most expensive chip I've ever purchased. Either I have a very expensive vanity chip on my hands (which I'm mostly ok with), or an actual minor piece of history. I can only find one mention of this casino via a Googled c.v. from someone who once worked at the Caspian Casino in Namakabrood, Iran; and the seller did say that "The casino closed in feb 79(the uk owners and workers fleed the counrty in late 1978 ) when Ayatollah Khomeini took control of the country". So any additional info on the casino and/or chip would be appreciated:
