At the top of that page is this link to the PDF file for the GPI response: Read the response from chip manufacturer GPI (162.2KB)" -- it is a short statement. One reassuring thing is that GPI claims that the ABC 15 horror story only comes about from "Laboratory destruction of the chip", not normal handling, so they say.
