Original hanger? I don't really recall but it seemed that that Hughes built spy ship was docked nearby. The name escapes me at the moment but it had a system to pick minerals off the ocean floor and the US government was using it to pick up sunken Commie subs mostly. The domed setting was pure Hollywood! Loved it! You'd come bopping around the corner out of a corridor and pop out under a wing tip with the lighting fixed just right so that you'd stop and gape like a fool.
