They are 8.5 x 5 inches (outside dimensions) and 7 x 4 inches (inside dimensions). They have a self-adhesive flap. The best part is that these are "poly" bags - meaning the outer cover is plastic, not paper. This should offer better tear resistance as well as protection against winter snow and rain. You can write on the outer cover with a pen or permanent marker, or use labels. The envelope itself weighs far less than an ounce, so it doesn't hike your postage rates. It is very flexible and should qualify for the first class letter rate or the flats rate, depending on the thickness of your contents. They have the small air bubbles you know and love.
