The US has given me some of the best steaks I've ever had (love Ruth's Chris) but also the worst - some very dodgy meals, especially for some reason in Florida. Don't know why, and don't want to have a go at anyone from the sunshine state (I have several friends there) but I only ever eat in known chains when I'm in Florida now.
