Just about every Thursday we go "up river" to a little restaurant that is actually floating ON the river. We are usually entertained by the local wildlife, including Cormorants, Egrets, Herons, King Fishers, an occasional Loon, Gulls and sometimes otters and seals. Today we were honored to get to see one of the two resident Bald Eagles fly down and get a fish from the river. It was just beautiful and I am always in awe whenever I get to see those beautiful birds in flight. They are quite a common site here, but I still can never get over the feeling I get just seeing them. What a wonder animal they are!
