You should see the counterfeit Palms B&G $100's. Made from scratch with Chipco like blanks. They captured a well used $100 chip with a scan, front, back, and rim. Pasted them on the blanks. They were good. A very alert cashier thought they felt funny and alerted security. We caught the guys on the 2nd try.

The cashier had actually felt the size difference 39MM versus 40MM. She did not even know what she was feeling at the time, just knew they felt different.
