I don't know about Halloween being the "second biggest" holiday ... but I don't recall seeing so many elaborate illuminated displays that homeowners in my area have put up this year ... and will undoubtedly be even bigger next year.

As for trick-or-treaters ... we only had a couple of dozen... way down from past years. Most of the kids in this neighborhood have grown up.
