1. I am based in the UK and so as you might expect, don't get to visit many of the casino's or attend many of the conventions and get togethers out there. The larger joining fee for overseas chip collectors for this reason alone is enough. Do I get the full benefits that others do? Of course I would definitely join if I lived in the U.S.
2. My interest in chips is primarily $1 denominations and usually H&C, BJ and Chipco molds (all their variations). Would I need to have information on other chips if I'm not interested in them. I have picked up lots of information on my hobby from just reading the message board and also from lots of good friends I have made on here.
Probably not a possibility due to cost but would be handy if there was specific publications on each major denomination.
3. As a current non member I must admit that I do miss out on lots of the competitions. Although many of them would alienate me as a foreign collector due to their nature. I have not a clue as to local programs called Amazing Race etc..
4. What would be the possibility of having a European branch of the CC>CC which would open up the same opportunities as you have over the big blue pond? Just a thought really.
Finally I just want to thank everyone for all their kindness and help whether a member or not. So far it has been a totally pleasurable experience and hope to continue building good relationships with all.
Happy Trading!!!
