Those who are content to stay only within their own juristiction of collecting, whether it be A.C., or Colorado, or silver strikes, ivories, or collecting dice, matchbooks, swizzle sticks, room keys, slot cards, slabs, etc. are free to associate with whomever they choose ... and vice-versa. If they can't afford the club dues (as you claim), how does any amount of wooing change anything?? Certainly not by opening up participation in on-line contests or poker tournaments to non-members. What about CC & GTCC members who are NOT on-line? Maybe they would like to join in on Andy's on-line fun as well. If so; then wouldn't they need to get a computer? That's one of the side-benefits of belonging to an organization that is offered by individuals running contests on this message board ... such as Andy Hughes ... and I commend Andy for his efforts.
