attitude you see here on the board towards that subject that some of our newer members might not be aware of.

This is not a new idea. It has been suggested several times over the course of the past 10 years. Each time it has been discussed, there has been a lack of supporting reasons as to why the name change is needed. Lots of people have spent lots of time discussing this idea over and over.

So, for that reason, many of the members (especially the long time ones) feel that even this suggestion is just a waste of time. I mean why even stir the pot if your not going to ever serve the stew (As my Grandma used to say).

Unless someone can come up with a valid reason to make a change, why even ask for suggestions?

Thats my humble opinion and once again all previous disclaimers apply.
