David is being truthful when he stated that
"Had anyone made a lower offer during the past 5 months then for all I know it may have been accepted by the vendor. Offers have been accepted on other items and have been welcomed all along. We will never know now."
I made a counter-offer offer to David for several "rare" A.C. gaming tokens that were on display by a consignor that were in David's display case during the 2007 convention in Las Vegas ... an offer which was readily accepted by the consignor. Since then, I have been offered the opportunity to sell the discounted tokens at David's original asking price.
David; don't pay any attention to those who lost out on a good deal by not striking while the iron was hot! Happens all the time in this hobby.
